I made some swaps last week. I thought I would show you one today. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Petal Passion DSP. It is all black and white. Sounds exciting? Right? Well black and white is just fine until you have Blends to color with and then you have AMAZING paper! I took a full sheet and colored it in. It was so relaxing and fun to color. I will continue to color the rest of the package this week and show you how it turns out.
I started with this piece of paper. I just picked a color from the pill and started coloring random flowers. As soon as I had covered a selection I picked a new color to add. I kept going until I had the full sheet all colored in. It looks like this now.
I grabbed my other supplies to finish my cards. As I turned back to my project I realized that the back of the paper was just as pretty as the front of the paper. Look how cool it looks!
The Stampin’ Blends bleed a little bit. (So cover your work area while coloring) Because you can see a bit of color showing through it makes an amazing patterns even on the back of the paper. I almost changed my mind and used the back of the paper instead. I think I will next time.
Try the Blends on your DSP. You don’t have to just use the black and white paper to make it cool. Try other colors and let me know how you like it. How cool it is that you can take paper and customize it to what you need. Show me how it turns out.
