Facebook Live 3/10/20

 

On Facebook Live 3/10/20 we did a 3″ x 3″ notecard holder. It has a clear window so you can see the cards. I just love how this turned out. It is so simple yet so pretty. Don’t you think so?

Here are the measurements for the box.

For the bottom- 6″ x 6″ DSP- Score at 1/4″ and 1 1/4″ on all 4 sides. Cut off the small rectangle in each corner. Cut in to the score line to make the tab to connect the corners of the box.

 

For the lid- 5 5/8″ x 5 5/8″ DSP- Score at 1/2″ and 1″ on all 4 sides.Cut off the small rectangle in each corner. Cut in to the score line to make the tab to connect the corners of the box.

 

To make the spot for the window sheet in the lid, cut a 2 1/2″ square from the middle of the lid BEFORE you assemble it. Use a piece of window sheet 3″ square to stick into the top of the lid and to cover up the hole.

Decorate any way you’d like. I am especially proud of the ribbon as a leaf. I thought that was clever.

 

 

The note cards are just 3″ x 3″ notecard and envelopes. The DSP is cut to 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ square. Decorate with a sentiment and a punch. Can’t get any easier! With the variety of paper that we have there must be millions of ways to decorate the front of the cards.
