I am sorry about the technical difficulties from last night’s Facebook Live. I am working on figuring out the problem. Thanks for hanging in there with me while I learn to be technical. I had fun making all of these cards. I wanted to show you how to use one stamp set with different tools to finish the cards.
I used the Rose Wonder stamp set for all of the cards.

This was colored with the Stampin’ Blends. I used several different colors to get this effect. I usually only use the pairs of colors to get the shading. This time I wanted to add a variation of color. I have roses in our garden that are this colorful.
In this sample I used Thick White Cardstock to make a mask. I used the thinlet die to cut out the mask to protect the outside of the image. I used sponge daubers and ink pads to add color to the image.
I am calling this my Warhol style card. It reminds me of the comic-strip-pixely-patterned-background. I invented this yesterday when I wanted to try something different. The tiny pattern stamps are from the Oh, So Eclectic stamp set. It’s kind of fun to stamp like this. You can leave the background white after you’ve stamped or you can blend it with an Aqua Painter or Blender Pen to mute the colors and fade away the stark white behind the stamping. If you make something with this technique please let me know. I would love to see what you come up with!
