This months blog hop is titled “Last Minute Lucy”. Hopefully you can get a few ideas for last minute holiday projects and gift ideas. I know I will be looking for a few ways to get the job done quickly. Below is a video of how to make a n0-measure gift bag. Like a lot of my projects, I love the idea of a method instead of an exact project. One you know the basic steps and theory, you can make this whatever you need it to be. Change the paper, size and the thickness that you fold it to make many different bags and containers. I have been known to grab a piece of paper and make a bag on the spot in my real-job-office to put candy in and take to the airport. (My flight was in 2 hours and I didn’t have time to stop at a store). Start with a pretty piece of 12′ x 12″ paper and you are good to go.
Most of the holiday paper is on sale right now while supplies last. Grab in now for next year! Another great thing about this bag is that it can me made and stored flat. You can make a bunch soon to have for next year. Think of how far ahead of the game you will be!
Hop on over to see the next Last Minute Lucy project.
