Here is a 3D version of my Painted Harvest card video. I thought it would be fun to use this pattern to make a box. Hope you have fun making it too.
Start by cutting and scoring a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock.
Cut little bits off of the bottom on both sides of the score line. This will allow the box bottom to close more neatly.
Cut Night of Navy cardstock (2) 5 3/4″ x 1 3/4″. Cut Very Vanilla (2) 5 1/2″ x 3″.
Stamp with the Painted Harvest stamp set. Start with Daffodil Delight and the biggest flower stamp. Turn your cardstock and stamp several times. This makes the image deeper in color and gives it a lot more texture.
Add detail of each flower with Cajun Craze. The center of each flower is Night of Navy. Stamp each center several times to get the depth of color.
Add leaves with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. Cover all of the empty space with leaves. It looks totally different when there is no white space. Cut your stamped piece in half so you have (2) 5 1/2 x 1 1/2″ pieces.
Assemble the box. Use Fast Fuze or Tear n Tape. This will make the box much stronger. Add your layers to the front and the back of the box.
Cut a piece of Copper Trim about 12″. If you pull the edges of the ribbon it will widen it and make it ruffle. Be careful because it will also take up some of the length. Add a bow and the pulled ribbon to your container with a Binder Clip. You did it! What will you put in your new Painted Harvest container?
