Here is project 2 from stamp camp. I straight up copied a card from someone I saw on Facebook. They were made by a demonstrator from Germany. I wish I could remember who is was. They are just too stinkin’ cute. I couldn’t resist!
This is half of an acetate box. Just cut it in half with your paper cutter. Make an insert for it. Cut 6 1/2″ x 4 3/8″. on the long side score 3″ from both ends. You will end up with about 1/2″ thickness in the middle. This will sit at the bottom of your container. It’s about the same size as a cassette tape case.
In all of these cards I stamped the words and then the frogs. Before I stamped the flies I cut them apart. The original stamp had all 3 flies hanging out together. I thought it looked better one at a time. When all of this is stamped take a fine tip Sharpie or the fine tip of the black Stampin’ Write marker. Make the line segments in one continuous stroke. If you pick up your pen mid-stroke you will leave a blob of ink. Squiggle and doodle as desired. It’s really fun when you get the hang of it.

The sharpie is the best kept secret. I have been showing my cards to friends and they want the stamp to make the lines. They’re amazed when I tell them the lines were made with a sharpie. Thanks for the great tip!

Thanks Mary. Isn’t it funny? The little things make the most difference.
