Tie one on

I needed to make about 25 of these little ribbon bundles for an embellishments for this card. I didn’t want to cut a bunch of 2″ pieces of ribbon and then have to try to tie them in bundles. So I came up with this idea.

 

 

It kind of reminds me of Macrame’. I slipped the twine and ribbon under the clip of a clipboard. Holding it tight I taped it to the bottom of the clipboard. Then I just made ties with another piece of twine. I left enough space between so that I could cut the bundles apart. This was so much easier than trying to tie tiny pieces of ribbon together.

 

 

I will post the video on tomorrow’s post. It might be easier to explain “in person”.
