OMG! It’s almost Christmas! Well, not really. But, 11 more Fridays? That’s not very many if you want a total DIY Christmas. OK. Let’s get real. Can you really do a whole DIY Christmas? This is what we are planning. It’s a promise my son made the family when grandma died several years ago. He asked for her fruitcake recipe in exchange for the promise to make it at least every other year and send some to the family. This is a fruitcake year. I know what you’re thinking. Fruitcake is the biggest waist of ingredients ever. Well, in this case you are totally wrong. I am not much of a fan in general either. But grandma got this one right. The whole family loves it and it is truly amazing. Her rules are that it is to be made before Halloween. So that’s the first thing on the list.
I would like to make tags for gifts this year and make cards to send. I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 22 years and I stink at sending Christmas cards. Don’t tell anyone.
What is on your list of things to DIY this Christmas?
