Creativity for the super bowl was my mission this year.
This was a fun project. I invited my family to my parents house. We had about 12 people but food enough for an army.
This was a fun project. I love being creative with food and parties. I started with a few items and built from there.
First start with a list of foods. Make a few recipes and add what’s on sale or what’s fun. I was kind of afraid that this would end up looking like a pile instead of a masterpiece. I think it turned out great!
Start by placing a few things. Place bowls and plates where you’d like them so that you know what space you have next.
Start filling in until you have the space covered. Why stop with a charcuterie board when you can us an island?
Add a few taller containers to add levels. Nothing crazy. Something neutral will blend in while adding the right height.
Seven layer dip. Start with seasoned refried beans. Layer in this order- guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese. green onions, tomatoes, black olives.
Lemon pepper dip. Super easy. Softened cream cheese sprinkled with lemon pepper. Dip wheat thins for an amazing combination.
Sideline cookies. These were fun to make!
A few healthy elements to pretend to be virtuous!
I completed the table with Where’s Waldo. After all he was the only thing missing. Thank you Ryan for the idea.
Happy creating.
